Stance Health Raises $1 Mn in Pre-seed Funding

Healthtech startup Stance Health has raised $1 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Silicon Valley-based VC firm General Catalyst.

Other investors include Antler, DeVC (backed by Z47), and angel investors such as Sriharsha Majety, Nandan Reddy, and Onsurity co-founder Kulin Shah.

The funds will be used to enhance its technology platform, expand services across India, and establish additional physical centers in Bengaluru and beyond.

About Stance Health

Founded in 2024 by Rohit Arora and Ninad Karandikar, Stance Health specializes in musculoskeletal (MSK) care, addressing pain in muscles, bones, and joints through a combination of in-person treatment at its centers and digital recovery programs.

Since launching its first center, the Bengaluru-based startup has conducted over 12,000 sessions in just eight months. It aims to open six more centers by December and expand to a new city next year.
